Taking a socially-distanced walk around your neighborhood is a great way to get out of the house, stretch your legs, and see some of the wonder of the natural world in your own backyard. Here is a list of 10 ways to appreciate nature on a walk around your neighborhood.

Staff from Environment America’s many state affiliates across the country were packing their bags for a March 9 trip to Washington, DC. Each of them was gearing up for a big push to fully fund our public lands. Of course, it turned out the timing couldn’t have been worse. With the dangers caused by the novel coronavirus, we cancelled flights and lodging and were forced to come up with a Plan B.
